Pastor Ernest Green III Pastor Ernest (Ernie) Green III is a father of three. A retired North Tonawanda police lieutenant, Ernie and wife Cindy, both life-long residents of North Tonawanda, are the proud parents of son Ernie the 4th, and daughters Lindsey Meyers Brothers, and Kimberly (Andrew) Kouzan, and grandparents to Max, Theo and Graham. Pastor Green is thankful to be at St. Paul, where he feels that he is surrounded by friends and family. Pastor Green says, “It is indeed a blessing to serve at St. Paul.” |
Pastor Bill Novack Pastor William (Bill) Novack, like Pastor Green, is a second career pastor who worked in the technology field while serving God in a small church. Called to St. Paul, NT in the summer of 2020, now full-time ministry, Pastor Bill comes to NT with his wife Maryanne, and is the father of a son, Keegan, and daughter Cara. Pastor Bill also has six grandchildren. Besides ministry, Pastor Bill enjoys music (he still collects vinyl). |
Emmett Whitaker Minister of Music Church musician since birth. Other than church music, interests include photography, videography, sci-fi, Yorkies, & MG’s. Currently self-employed (piano lessons) and also in the employ of St. Paul Lutheran Church as Minister of Music. Attended Concordia University, Bronxville (A.A.); Concordia Fort Wayne (B.A.); Concordia Seminary St. Louis (1 year); Virginia Commonweath University (M.S., Sociology). Two lovely children: Emmett III (Doctor & Professor at Johns Hopkins), and Elizabeth (school teacher, Morrisville N.C), who is married to Jay; an adorable granddaughter, Olivia Mae and also a grandson Sawyer (Liz and Jay’s children) and an even lovelier wife, Jennifer (B.A., Concordia River Forest) who is recently retired. And, last, but not least, our family includes SUPERYORKIE, Allie Jane Whitaker. As for the future, I’m hoping to be good at something, someday. |
Director of Family Ministry and Adult Christian Education Linda Gerlach has served at St. Paul Lutheran since 1978, starting out as the Preschool teacher. In 1999, she moved into the role of Director of Family Ministry, then added on the role of Preschool Director in 2004. Linda retired from her full time work in June of 2016, but continues to work part time in Family Ministry and Adult Christian Education. She is thankful that God has led her to serve Him here at St. Paul and for His faithfulness through every part of her life. She enjoys helping people find new ways to serve God, as they grow closer in their walk with Him. Linda and her late husband, Paul, are the parents of 3 adult children. She enjoys travel, reading, and all sorts of creative activities. |
Church Secretary and Office Manager Carolyn Taylor has been working in office settings for over 30 years. She also serves as the church Business Manager/Treasurer. Carolyn has two grown daughters, a son-in-law, three wonderful granddaughters, and a crazy cat. She enjoys training in the Martial Arts, reading, and taking walks. She is thrilled to be serving God and His people here at St. Paul. |
Storm McNair, Youth Co-Leader Storm has been involved with the youth group for 6 years. She also teaches the 7th and 8th grade KREW (Sunday school) class. Storm has been a nurse for over 16 years. She has one son Sammy. Storm’s most favorite hobby is spending time with loved ones. She is very excited continue to build and grow our youth group and is super excited to see the old faces and meeting new ones.
Marc Manth, Youth Co-Leader Marc has been involved with the youth group for about 6 years. He and his wife Michelle have 4 children – 1 son, and 3 daughters. Marc is a Master Planner at Conax Technologies in Cheektowaga, New York. He leads our high school students through Bible study on Sundays at 9:30am. You will find him in his off time at the softball diamond or the ice cream parlor. Marc enjoys working with Storm and the youth group families to build fellowship among all. |
